St. Maximilian Kolbe: “No one in the world can change Truth!”

On the feast of St. Kolbe, it’s worth recalling this observation of his:

“No one in the world can change Truth!”

What we can do and should do is to seek truth and to serve it when we have found it. The real conflict is an inner conflict.   …there are two irreconcilable enemies in the depth of every soul: good and evil, sin and love.

And what use are the victories on the battlefield if we ourselves are defeated in our innermost personal selves?

St. Maximilian repeats what we know, and what St. Ignatius elaborated so well in the Spiritual Exercises:  there are only two standards.  Pick one.

This Saint’s words on Truth are like a super mental and spiritual multivitamin ! Read in the context of the wise words of both Popes John Paul and Benedict on relativism. Thank you for the thoughtful words and pictures you
    post on this wonderful site.
