You’ve seen the headlines by now: Bishop Paprocki of Springfield diocese is going to perform an exorcism at the same time as the Governor Pat Quinn of Illinois signs a bill into law that enacts so-call marriages between persons of the same sex (as if that were possible anywhere in God’s creation).
The story is not as clean as the press would have us believe (are you surprised?).
We have to start with the quote Fr. Hardon was fond of citing when discussing the media. He would begin his discussions on Inter Mirifica with the observation of Canadian philosopher Marshall McLuan, “all of the media is engaged in a Luciferian conspiracy against the truth.” (!) God bless Fr. Hardon. But if that is true, then there should be plenty of lies in the entire mess afoot, right? There are.
You see, the press wants us to believe that all homosexuals want to be married. They therefore assert that this is a victory for civil rights. The press is lying, however, as there are many people who profess to be gay who don’t want civil unions or marriages (see, if you must, this link to an essay written by someone who describes himself as gay against “gay marriage”). In sum, there are many who see the “gay lifestyle” as one of freestyle sexual encounters — these see the idea off marriage as a way to force some sort of moral constraint on their behavior. (I can’t make this stuff up — we truly are living in strange days). So, right from the start, we are faced with a lie.
There are more misdirections in all of this, though. For decades, the Church in America has been confronted by the so-called “Rainbow sash movement.” For myself, I think the joke is on those who predicate their happiness on finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. To wit, nobody has ever found it, and those that have tried were lead to destruction by the little imp leprechaun that tempts them to such. Nevertheless, the rainbow chasers have been telling themselves that the pot of gold is a church that erases sodomy from the list of sins that have been enumerated for time immemorial. (cf. Lev xx 13; Lev xviii 22; 1 Cor vi 9; Gen xix; Rom i 26-27; et .al.) this rebellion against settled matters is what motivated the Russian Patriarch to call it a “sign of the apocalypse.” But, in a day where we are told that the correct answer to 2+2 is whatever makes you happy, are we surprised that people would rise up against and revolt against these things?
Back in October, the pot of gold chasers wanted to wear their rainbows in a Springfield Catholic Church and pray that the pot of gold would appear therein. They claimed that they would make “loud Catholic Presence for marriage equality” (see the report here). Bishop Paprocki banned the rainbow sashes. Quite symbolic that he didn’t ban the people from coming to Mass and praying, rather, he banned only the symbol of their delusions — that rainbow sash.
The press would have none of it though — the headlines organized by the press tried to demonize Paprocki as doing something against people (not delusions). Note that the Quincy Journal, to which I linked above had the accurate headline,
“Same-sex marriage advocates wearing rainbow sashes won’t be allowed at Mass“
That’s accurate! Paprocki is only banning the rainbow sash (the symbol of the delusional pursuit of happiness) BUT NOT the people! You get an accurate idea of what’s going on! Wow! I am surprised with them! But, you should see the headlines from the next day, after the rest of the press had a chance to change the tone through their headlines:
- Bishop bans gay marriage supporters from Cathedral (State Journal-Register)
- Bishop: No Prayers for Marriage Equality in Cathedral (advocate.com)
- Marriage Equality Prayer at Catholic Church (WICS-TV)
- Springfield’s Catholic Diocese Bars Marriage Equality Activists From Church (Progress Illinois)
- Bishop Bans ‘Blasphemous’ Rosary for Same-Sex ‘Marriage’ From Cathedral
- As Illinois Rallies for Marriage Equality, Bishop Bans Supporters from Cathedral
- Illinois bishop bars organized prayers for same-sex marriage in cathedral
Notice that none of those in the little sample here say accurately what Paprocki did: he said no rainbow sash. Worse, some of them make it sound like the Bishop disallowed people to come to church. Yikes! He never said that!
Here’s exactly what Bishop Paprocki said:
http://vimeo.com/77529414
I like what he said at then end, “Of course our parish churches are always open to everyone.” That’s right! You can come there and find God, but you won’t find unicorns and pots of gold. And you can’t come in there and change everything — that job is reserved for ICEL, rogue liturgists, and post-Vatican II lay busybodies. (sorry, I had to jab to see if you’re paying attention) (you can see more videos of Bishop Paprocki giving various series teachings on the Diocese of Springfield’s Vimeo page.)
Let’s get back to these rainbow chasers and their desires to uproot all of history. Will it make them happy to do that? At the end of the day, the only thing achieved is empty destruction, right?
The Useful Idiot is Too Stupid to Realize He’s Being Used
That’s sort of the gris rubbing the gears underneath this machinery of the Rainbow Sash and similar movements. They are inciting desires in people and making them believe that only by destroying everything in their way, can they get the one thing that will make them happy. It sounds a lot like modern advertising in method. The idea was perfected by Marxist Russia, though. According to KGB dissenter, Yuri Bezmenov (who took the name Thomas Schumann), this destabilization and demoralization of the country was stage 2 of their tactics of taking over a country. More importantly, he described the social judo the KGB forces would use to create waves of chaos and friction. By putting people on these fruitless quests, destabilizing society, and making an outright mess of things, the people that the KGB agents would incite to riot and revolt were referred to as useless idiots.
A full and detailed explanation and a fascinating read of the subject can be found in Yuri’s book Love Letter to America, available to download free here.
After you download it, immediately turn to page 17, and begin to read Bezmenov’s explanation of how social subversion works:
The essence subversion is best expressed in the famous Marxist slogan. (if you substitute “proletarians” for a more appropriate word): “Useful idiots of the world – UNITE! To achieve the desired effect, the subverter must first – make idiots out of normal people and DIVIDE them, before turning the people into a homogenized mass of useful and united idiots. Tanks and missiles may not be needed at the final stage. For the time being they are simply the means of terrorizing people into inaction and submission.
So, this process of making people into idiots and dividing them is further explained on the following pages. The highlights:
… About 2500 years later we can read this very same instruction in a secret document, allegedly authored by the Communist International for their “young revolutionaries”. The document is titled “Rules of Revolution”:
1. Corrupt the young, get them interested in sex. take them away from religion. Make them superficial and enfeebled.
2. Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial issues of no importance.
[…]
7. Cause breakdown of the old moral virtues: honesty, sobriety, self-restraint, faith in the pledged word.
Bezmenov (pp 17-8). This sounds familiar, doesn’t it? In fact, it sounds an awful lot like the things Stephanie Block unveils in her works on Alinskey. (now you see why we use Soviet Propaganda posters to highlights these ideas — it’s historical fact according to Bezmenov). Your jaw should drop when you read this next observation (prediction) by Bezmenov — if you thought I was reaching a little too far, note well how these groups are to be used:
All you have to do to “screw up” the status quo of a free nation, is to borrow ONE false idea from the ideology of a communist totalitarian government. For the sake of simplicity, I have chosen the idea of “egalitarianism”. “People born equal therefore must be equal”. Sounds great. But look at yourselves. Were you born equal? Some of you weighed 7pounds at birth, others 6 or 5. . . Are you NOW equal? In any way? Physically, mentally, emotionally, racially, spiritually? Some are tall and dumb, others – short, bald and clever. Now, let’s figure out what will happen if we LEGISLATE EQUALITY, and make the concept of “equality” a cornerstone and pillar of socio-economical and political system. All right? You don’t have to be a great economist or sociologist to foresee that some of the people who are “less equal” would demand as much as those who are “more equal” BY LAW!
Aha, now you’ve got it. There will be some who get more for GIVING less and take advantage of those, who are even “less equal”, say, in the art of TAKING. And to avoid the squabble for “equal redistribution” you will have to introduce a THIRD FORCE – the State. Why? Because people were never equal, are not equal, and if God wanted us to be equal, He would probably have made us equal.
Bezmenov, p 18-9. That’s precisely what has happened here. People were made to believe that the State must make gay “marriages” equal to something else. But, as his own analysis reveals, it’s not. As we know, first and foremost, God made man and woman. God did not make man and man, or woman and woman, or any of the other concoctions that plastic surgery these days frankensteins together. A man and man cannot make children. A man and woman can (so long as the GMO food hasn’t sterilized them yet). By their very nature, God made the union of man and woman UNEQUAL to any other — the proof is in the natural fruit borne of the union: children. (now do you see why Fr. Hardon always said contraception is the root cause of homosexuality?).
The bottom line is the the gay marraige movement is nothing more than the method outline by this KGB defector, namely: legislate equality and use the power of the state to make it equal.
Please read the rest of the Bezmenov booklet, as he describes in more detail the “Active Measures” taken by the KGB across all society, which he praises as aptly described by the title “Reality Upside Down.”
So what did Bishop Paprocki do? He merely prevented the destabilization of his church! Yet, he still invited the individuals to be there. In other words, he gave everyone in his diocese the EQUAL opportunity to pray and worship God.
Yes, these useful idiots are filled with EMPTY PROMISES. (no wonder they never say they long form of the exorcism during Good Friday…. “Do you reject Satan? And all his empty promises?”). There is no pot of gold at the end of their equality rainbow.
These Active Measures are Born of Hell
Bezmenov’s book goes on to discuss radicalization. Alinskey, often discussed here, wrote the further guide to Radicals. It is born of hell, and Alinskey’s dedication of it to Lucifer is likely no more than a thank you for it originator. That’s why we picture him with scripture on his face describing his means:
Rightly so, Bishop Paprocki relied on Pope Francis’s description from the Two Standards (another topic I discussed here in The Two Standards: Truth Incarnate or Father of Lies, and DeJak wrote on in The Plan for this Pontificate, the Standard of Christ ).
Said the Bishop, quoted in the Quincy Journal article: “The pope’s reference to the ‘father of lies’ comes from the Gospel of John (8:44), where Jesus refers to the devil as ‘a liar and the father of lies.’ So Pope Francis is saying that same-sex ‘marriage’ comes from the devil and should be condemned as such.”
Right on, Bishop Paprocki!
Accordingly, Bishop Paprocki will use the power of his ordination and cast away the Father of Lies on the very day the Governor will sign that lie into law. Thanks be to God there is a Bishop willing to use the holy powers of his office!
I think it’s safe to say that Bishop Paprocki isn’t stealing anyone’s happiness, but he is telling them that there is no pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow Sash… In fact, just one day before this whole mess started, he posted a video on finding true happiness. How’s that for providence? I’m positive Bishop Paprocki wants happiness, true happiness, for everyone, even for those who are chasing rainbows, and more importantly, he’s trying to free them from lies and empty promises.
