Replacing Condoms and Pills with Pride Parades

I keep telling myself that I’m not going to berate the rainbow itself. But… anyone that has been online this month,  has seen enough of them. This month of June is supposed to be for the Sacred Heart.   The same Lord who has that Sacred Heart in His human chest is ignited by a Divine love for us. It is also the same one Who spoke the words of the Rainbow covenant to us:

  1. Be fruitful and multiply.
  2. Sex is between a man and a woman (not animals)

and more. Just see the earlier post I had on that — Breaking the Rainbow Covenant (Be Fruitful and Multiply, and Fill the Earth)

First, let’s get this out of the way — it’s OK if you feel like this (I do):

I take some consolation to know that Fr Martin’s own followers on twitter have been complaining to him. They even want him to stop. Some replies to his “pride extravaganza” ask him to stop this week and say something about health.

He won’t. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

That said, I wanted to highlight again that homosexuality, contraception, and abortion are closely related.

What I think some people might be shocked about is that homosexuality is argued as the best contraception.

Arguing that Homosexuality is Better than the Pill or Abortion

From 2012 or so, G. Roger Denson writes in the Huffington Post. His title:  Homosexuality as Population Control? Why Gays & Lesbians Are Essential to the Balance of Nature.

As always, his premise is that we are overpopulated. (cue the vomiting elf again here). From that, he builds the case for rainbows:

With the natural world on the brink of demise largely because of overpopulation, unrestrained homosexuality, as one of a variety of ethical and democratic measures available to us today, offers perhaps the most natural option to be enjoined. What other options are as attractive? We don’t want to die young. We don’t want to face illness or catastrophe. Many individuals and societies refuse abortion and birth control. Few would condone or submit willingly to the kind of international law imposing a one-child policy like that exercised by China on all nations. And we hardly need to be reminded of the history of racist, eugenicist, and militarist agendas for imposing growth control on unwilling and unknowing populations. So why shouldn’t homosexuality be seen as providing a viable option to overpopulation—to the point that the world’s nations come to encourage its practice and esteem its benefits?

I can think of many reasons…  Most importantly, however, is that the Lord Who gave us that rainbow told us not to do that.

He then asks:

It is, after all, the most harmonious way to control the population—considering all that’s required is that we love and support our gay sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, parents, friends, lovers, and selves.

No. The problem is not that we need to control population. The problem is not that people need to find sterile sex. The problem is that people no longer listen to Our Lord, and flaunt against him.

It is, as I wrote in that Breaking the Rainbow Covenant, an attempt to undo what the Lord has done.

I wrote tangentially in an article on Fatima that the angel with the flaming sword came to punish Israel after David got worried about overpopulation.

Meanwhile, we have Fr. Martin telling everyone to “Judge not”.  I find that humorous. If we were to follow Our Lord, He also said of those cities that persist and do not listen to His disciples:

Amen I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Lord, have mercy on us.

Say a Hail Mary for us and for Fr. Martin and for Mr. Denson. We have a lot of error on top of error and only with her help can people get back to listening to Our Lord.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!
