In Footnote 25, Chris Manion interviews Steve Mosher, President of the Population Institution, who reports on the sex-selection abortions that have eliminated millions of unborn girls in other countries, and the trend is now catching on in the U.S. The recent passage of a Kansas law outlawing the practice. Mr. Mosher, also an expert on China, discusses the impact that the practice – propelled by that country’s mandatory only-one-child-per-family policy – has had on that population and the culture.
