Today’s Exorcism Might stop the March to Fantasyland

The news is reporting that Illinois Governor Pat Quinn intends to sign the so-called Gay Marriage Bill into state law today. As we reported here, Bishop Paprocki is ready to exorcise his diocese in reparation for this legislative stroll into fantasyland.

The Chicago Tribune, revealing an entirely materialist bent, leads with a headline that this is a “political stunt.”

The sinkholes of reason

It is rather strange, that, in addition to tornados recently, Chicago also had a 3.2 earthquake that caused sinkholes to develop. One of which ate three cars!

Click the picture from Time Magazine to see their report.

The reports say that the earthquake was human caused.  Really?  I’m not surprised. Human caused?  They say it’s from mining and quarrying…   A fitting allegory for the quest to find the pot of gold promised to those rainbow sash folks — they are digging right to the seat fantasyland — and fantasyland is responding! Of course it’s human caused!

The quest for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow sash is a trip into that territory of forbidden fruit from the tree of good and evil — it is, at its root, an endeavor to take the power of God and declare reality. As we’ve reported here, St. Michael’s very name is “Who is like God?” Are we surprised that we’d hear of his icon weeping over these things?

Is it any surprise that as the laws reach into the fantasyland of hell, the place from which the empty promises of pots of gold at the end of the rainbow come, that the very earth would open up as a way to remind us from whence these fantasies come?

Bishop Paprocki is perhaps the only one in the news not indulging in the fruits of the tree of fantasyland, and his “stunt” of performing an exorcism is perhaps the sanest thing anyone could do! After all, Who but God can sort reality out of that mess?

The whole series of events is scheduled for this afternoon — perhaps add a prayer or two of your own to Bishop Paprocki’s leadership.

We don’t want to live in fantasyland!

  • It sure does look like our whole country needs to be exorcised! It will take more than one Priest, though!
