Akita Reignites with New Message: Ashes and Rosary

I can remember watching a movie and right when things were getting really fast, the screen went dark, then a new picture came. The narrator’s voice was a deep and announced, “meanwhile… in…” and something totally different was presented. Turns out that it was parody in that film. It’s a trope now, but it came from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night where the audience is presented parallel storylines. Sometimes life has these “meanwhile, in …” moments.

While Rome was Opening the “Amazon Synod” with Pachamama Idol…

On October 4, 2019, (First Friday) the now infamous scene of people bowing to a carved image of creature, aka an idol, or some say this is “Pachamama”, which I explained in a post made that same day is the same as Artemis. The video of the Friday is in the post below.

October 6 Opened the Amazon Synod, but little Mention of Our Lady of the Rosary in Rome

Pope Francis opened the Amazon Synod with Mass in the morning. Then, at his angelus address, he briefly mentioned Our Lady of the Rosary, but not much. I see nothing about saying the Rosary in the address. [yes, I do think we should be encouraged by the Pope to say the rosary… it’s been a thing for the past 40 popes or so at least]

October 6 Synod Mass Opening, Pope Francis Speaks How Jesus Came to Bring Fire to the Earth

At the opening Mass for the Amazon Synod, Pope Francis is reported to have spoken on Jesus not coming to “bring a gentle evening breeze, but to light a fire to the earth.” This, this comment is where the trope comes in… I can’t make this stuff up!

October 6 Tweet from @CatholicSat reporting on Pope Francis’s homily comments that Jesus came to set a fire to the Earth

Most of us were still in shock at the blatant mess we saw on Friday, and as we saw the pageantry of Amazon folk headdresses and feathers.

Meanwhile, in Akita… (where we learned that if men don’t repent, fire will fall from Heaven)

I think the angels wanted to iron in that people should be praying their rosary! WQPH of Boston reports that Sister Agnes Sasagawa, the same sister who received Our Lady and her guardian angel in the series of messages in 1973, received a new message from her guardian angel.

Sister is 88 years old, and has ailments including broken ribs.

On October 6, that is, the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, at 3:30 A.M., Sister received a visit from an angel. The angel told her one message for everyone, and another message fro Sister herself.

The message, as I translate it: “Cover yourself in ashes and please pray your rosary for penance everyday.”

Ashes. Fire from Heaven… Pope Francis talking about Jesus coming to set the Earth on fire. whoa.

What Happened in Rome – (Video)

If you watch this video, you will see several carvings of creatures, and you will see people bowing to them. You will see that graven image given to the Pope.

Our Only Weapons: The Eucharist, and the Rosary

You’ve heard it over and over: Fatima and Akita tell us lay people that we must do penance and pray our rosaries. That link goes to a recent post from October 13th whereby Fatima and Akita are compared side-by-side.

I still maintain that all this controversy is centered on Communion in the Hand. It is the battle line that Our Lady identified, and it is the attack on the belief in the True and Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. Obviously, if that is one of the weapons which will be left to us, the devil’s attack is there.

Penance is Necessary, Even if they didn’t intend it to be an “Idol”

We’ve posted many catechetical aids in the course of October. It’s fairly easy to understand the First Commandment, but the communications people from the Vatican, and the Spadaro spin cycle keep trying to insert things that don’t belong in the Commandment. God said don’t make a graven image of any creature and bow to it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t intend to have an idol. It doesn’t matter if you

But is that why Our Lady is coming? I don’t know. Certainly we need to do penance for that mess. But there is more afoot for sure, right?

Many aren’t sure that the reports of the new message is true.

I believe it – But the Angels come Before Mary

Some people are skeptical as to whether the message happened. I believe it. This is precisely the same message as Fatima and Akita: penance and pray the rosary. Mary said that so many souls go to Hell because no one will pray for them. She asks us to pray for sinners. You say the Fatima prayer during your rosary, don’t you?

Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy!

The more worrisome part is that the angels seem to come around shortly before and leading up to a visit from the Blessed Mother. That’s what happened at Fatima, at Akita in 1973, and many others…

That makes me wonder what Mary has up her sleeve…

What do you think? Real message or not? Is Our Lady going to come back to Akita?

Seems that the Japanese bishops and the Vatican have tried to silence the message…

UPDATE FEB 2020

I discuss an answer received from the community about the alleged message on this new post:

It’s surprising… see for yourself

  • Michael Dowd says:

I believe the message as it came at the time the “pope” was worshiping a false god. As is said, “there are no coincidences with God.” Also, let us remember Jesus said, “he who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

  • Mary says:

Who released the message? Where did it originate?

    • John B. Manos says:

The Japanese text would have us believe it was a friend of Mrs M who was there. WQPH doesn’t tell us who. I’ve asked some friends in Tokyo if any of them can figure it out and will report back once I get some info.

Meanwhile, many people are focused on the “30 years ago” part. They think that relates back to the original messages. I don’t think it does. That’s around the time that Fr. Yesuda passed away and there were miracles such as Mrs Chun’s healing that happened then. I believe she likely had a conversation with her angel at the time as well because her angel often had messages about Fr Yesuda.

      • Mary says:

Thank you for your quick response. BTW, the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is not the 6th of October but the 7th.

        • John B. Manos says:

Hah! How stupid of me! I was so focused on Our Lady of the Rosary as related to the message and the time zones — it was still October 5 in Rome when that happened. I think Akita is 9 hours ahead of Rome so it would have been 6:30 PM on October 5 in Rome.

D’oh! I still think OLR feast day is related, but you’re right – 7th (not 6th)! I’ll fix the post up later today because that needs corrected!

        • John B. Manos says:

Mary, thanks again — I fixed it in the post body. Also, I went back and made sure my expectations for a mention to pray the rosary weren’t too high. Pope John Paul II, on October 3, 2004 mentions the rosary and encouraged everyone to say it. He said, “1. On this first Sunday of October, the month dedicated especially to Our Lady of the Rosary, I invite you to recite this beautiful prayer in imitation of the new Blesseds.”

Same with Pope Benedict, he said, on 2 October 2005:

We confidently pray above all to the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom we will honour on 7 October as Our Lady of the Rosary.

The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary, the unique contemplative prayer through which, guided by the Lord’s Heavenly Mother, we fix our gaze on the face of the Redeemer in order to be conformed to his joyful, light-filled, sorrowful and glorious mysteries.

This ancient prayer is having a providential revival, thanks also to the example and teaching of the beloved Pope John Paul II. I invite you to reread his Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae and to put into practice its directions on the personal, family and community levels.

We entrust the work of the Synod to Mary: may she lead the entire Church to an ever clearer knowledge of the proper mission of service to the Redeemer truly present in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

  • Dave Fagan says:

    John,
I thought Father Yasuda passed away in November 2013? I recently set up a Facebook page called Our Lady Of Akita and just posted a piece about Fr. Yasuda’s death, earlier.

    • John B. Manos says:

I must be thinking of Fr Joseph then. One of the priests passed away shortly after Bishop Ito retired.

      • Dave Fagan says:

        Thanks John,
I was somewhat surprised to see this report of the ‘new message’ to Sister Agnes, after such a long silence around the events at Akita. As mentioned, I created an Fb page back in September as I felt that the happenings described at Akita may be drawing nearer and it is still a largely unknown Marian event.

  • Marcia T. says:

I don’t think the images were used as idols in that clip any more than the Fatima statue in procession is an idol, which some of our evangelicals believe it to be.

    • John B. Manos says:

Thanks for your comment Marcia, but there really was no way to say it wasn’t an idol and now that the woman shaman who conducted the ritual has said it was specifically an idol, there is not much to argue. It was a pagan idol and that was a pagan worship ritual.

  • Hkr says:

Thanks for your great input and your forum! As soon as I heard what happened I thought about the events related to Nineveh and jonah… its worrisome but at the same time I see evil explicitly manifested in this world – as well as weed and wheat taking sides

    • John B. Manos says:

Thanks be to God. I do hve an updae to post, on information I got back from inquiries sent to Japan. I want to also discuss the Japanese reaction to Pope Francis’s visit there in the same post and update. Coming very soon…

      • Margaret Waite says:

Hi, I just found your website. Occasionally I tune into TradCatKnight, but I can’t afford to pay to subscribe. I do my best to help my husband understand more of being a Catholic and what it is about. He is newly Baptized by a Traditional Catholic Priest, I am Traditional since birth 1952 and remember the Tridentine Mass. I have had a video for quite a few years of the Sister of Akita, and learned that she has new messages. Is the prediction of the “fire from Heaven” the Three Days of Darkness? I do pray the rosary every night, and I have an enduring love of our Lady. P.S. I don’t do Facebook or any social media. I cannot receive the Eucharist as we don’t have a Traditional Catholic Church anywhere near us in the High Desert of California, I am hoping that praying the rosary everyday will help me and my husband.

        • John B. Manos says:

Hi Margaret. Sorry I only saw your comment just now! The fire from Heaven in Akita’s message is different than the three days of darkness. It’s a terrible chastisement instead.
