An Evil Twist

Joe is out, Kamala is in. I cannot think of a more evil twist of events in a presidential election than this. Putting aside the fact that Democratic party politics is submerged in lies, the public comments, the campaigning, the media dance around the candidate will be a propaganda blitz not seen since Hitler’s rise to power. It will be tantamount to brainwashing. Can we withstand it?

The first hint of the direction of the campaign came when a supposedly impartial newscaster inserted her own observation into a news report, predicting “the right of women to control their bodies will be an issue” in the Harris campaign. Note how that was phrased. The “right of women to control their bodies” is the disguised and sanitized version of the right to abortion at any time for any reason. So much for reporting facts. And make no mistake, in these last weeks before the election, so-called women’s issues will be at the forefront. The rest of our country’s woes – soaring inflation (food and fuel costs are not included in the reportedly “good” numbers), nonexistent border security, the destruction of our energy capacity by the radical climate lobby – will go unmentioned.

Women. Harris knows what buttons to press to get attention on this subject, she’s pushed a few herself. Here are a few topics to watch for:

  •  No matter what Trump or Vance say, they will be branded as misogynists, two white men keeping women down and “in their place.”
  • Trump and Vance will be depicted as racists – white men saying bad things about a woman of color. The argument will be expanded to accuse them of attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion rather than the promotion of competence, intelligence, and ability to govern the most powerful country in the world.
  • Donald Trump will always be labeled a criminal. In fact, in an early speech as the candidate, Harris talked about her prosecutor days, how she “took on perpetrators of all kinds…so hear me when I say, I know Donald Trump’s type” (Lindsay Kornick, Fox News, July 23). What Harris didn’t mention, of course, was a CBS San Francisco story (June 26, 2019) about herimpeding progress in criminal cases against child sex abusers in the Catholic Church. Nor did Harris mention, as California Attorney General in 2015, she authorized a raid by 11 agents on the home of David Daleiden after the organization for which he worked, the Center for Medical Progress, revealed Planned Parenthood was selling body parts of aborted babies for research(Flash Report). It appears for Harris, justice is swayed by political winds.
  • Trump and Vance will be excoriated for not supporting “reproductive rights.” Reproductive rights has been Biden’s signature campaign issue. He’s repeatedly played to screaming women’s groups with his abortion rights promises. In the throes of Covid-19, it was “follow the [fake] science”; for unlimited abortion, it’s ignore the [true] science that there is genetically human life within the woman. You can be sure Harris will follow in stride, coaxing women to rally under this mantle of human destruction. After all, she is the first VIP in office who visited an abortion clinic, many news reporters have said reverently.

There is no way the Trump-Vance ticket will get objective media coverage because many of those controlling the media, reporting the “news” are women. On July 24, the PBS White House correspondent went on and on about abortion rights in her report, how women will be out in support of Harris. Apparently there was no other news that day to report on in such great length.

Are the American people so blind that they believe this woman, the presumptive Democratic candidate for President of the United States, is necessary to save democracy as Joe Biden suggests? Do women think of her as the emancipator, believing the many lies that have been fed to them for so many years?

What a successful brainwashing campaign! It began over fifty years ago in the equal rights movement. Those early years were not just about equal pay, equal opportunity. Rather, seeds of discontent were planted by relentless rhetoric. Women were told they could not be fulfilled by family life, they could not achieve what they were meant to be while fettered to the home and a husband. Only employment outside the home, involvement outside the family could satisfy their suppressed desires.

Thus began the mass exodus of women from the family, from their husbands and children, a movement so overwhelming that if a woman chose to remain embedded in her family she was denigrated. Thus began the ongoing disdain toward men, very evident in the words of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) who made a comment (July 24, Fox News) about “women, and friends of women, who are called men.”

In the wake of this exodus from the family, which continues to this day, the children were left adrift to fend for themselves. Grandma went to work, no longer available to help the young mom understand what family life and raising children was all about. If a mother had a question, she turned to the myriad of speakers and self-help books by “experts” which soon flooded the market. The expert advice was treated with more faith than the Holy Bible.

For years, both men and women have been cultivated to think, behave in a certain direction, with certain roles to play and they are unable to sift incoming information for right or wrong, for truth. They merely go along with the prevailing opinions because they have been coached to do so by unending propaganda.

And here comes a woman of color rising up as a presidential candidate, a symbol of success in the name of holy diversity, equity, and inclusion. Which way do you think the winds of the election will prevail? Do you wonder if it has all been a set-up? I do. Truth is not her hallmark. Not long ago she called 18- to 24-year-olds “stupid” which is why they are put in dormitories with resident assistants, she said. Now she’s out pandering to the same demographic, promising freebies like childcare, eldercare, health care and her young audiences respond with screams of delight.

This is going to be an ugly presidential campaign, launched for evil by evil. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) hinted at it in an interview (July 24, Fox News). “The left owns her,” he said about Kamala Harris. He warned that she “really believes” in the leftist ideals and will work to execute them.

The devil can shape-shift and the mere thought of this woman being elected as president should drive us to our knees in prayer. The spectre of persecution of pro-lifers and religious believers looms. Ask the elderly pro-lifers in Maryland recently sentenced to years in jail for violating the FACE act how that works.

May Holy Mary, Mother of God, patroness of our country, protect us and may St. Michael help us defend truth in the days ahead.
